Mojang has outlined some upcoming updates to Scrolls, including a new ranking system, tutorial, and a tablet version. Though the update didn't specify when these updates are coming, it gives us a roadmap of what the studio is working on in the immediate future.

According to a blog post from Mojang, the ranking system is meant to show information a little more clearly. It will come with weekly rewards for dedicated players. A new tutorial is in the works to teach the basic mechanics within only a few minutes, and some audio and visual tweaks are on the way too. A demo is also coming, one which will provide "a slice" of gameplay.

However, the biggest news is probably confirmation that the game will hit iPad and other tablets. Ludosity will work on the port, with more info coming soon.

Huh, I never thought The Elder Scrolls would come to tablets. Hopefully this is as good as Skyrim. And I don't know why they handed the reins to Mojang instead of Bethesda.

Man, I cannot wait for hearthstone for the iPad (USA). With FTL it feels like the iPad is booming as a gaming platform.
