Mario Kart 8: Rainbow Road video compares N64 and Wii U

As has become series tradition, the upcoming Wii U racing game will feature a new Rainbow Road and an updated take on a classic. IGN has created a new video that compares the original N64 track with the updated Wii U version.

As has become series tradition, the upcoming Wii U racing game will feature a new Rainbow Road and an updated take on a classic. IGN has created a new video that compares the original N64 track with the updated Wii U version. After seeing the track in motion, perhaps you'll agree that yes, maybe Wii U is all about the graphics.

      Sure, part of the appeal of the Wii U can be simply seeing classic Nintendo franchises in glorious HD. That's nothing to be embarrassed about. Mario Kart 8 is gorgeous.

      I can't wait to see the new Zelda at E3. Not just for the graphics, of course, but I can't deny wanting to find out what the first HD Zelda looks like, either.
