Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure arrives April 22 on PC

Nearly two years after its successful Kickstarter campaign, Tex Murphy is ready to begin his next case. Publisher Atlus has revealed that Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure will begin its investigation on PC on April 22.

The full-motion cinematic adventure follows hard-boiled detective Tex Murphy, down with a concussion, but not quite out of the game. His next case (his first since 1998) sees him investigating the secrets of legendary scientist, Nikola Tesla, as he wards off criminals and mutants in San Francisco.

Pre-orders are up now on both Steam and GOG. Pre-ordering will get you a 10% discount either way, but going the Steam route will get you a Tex Murphy live jazz soundtrack and classic 1996 adventure The Pandora Directive, while pre-ordering from GOG will get you the Tesla Effect soundtrack and a choice between Tex Murphy 1+2, Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, or Tex Murphy: Overseer.
