Rockstar has ambitious plans to continuously update Grand Theft Auto Online. Next week, players will be able to create their own original Capture jobs, in addition to the already-available Deathmatches and Races. However, that's just the first update Rockstar has planned.

Coming this spring is "The High Life Update." This expansion will add new high-end apartment options, the Bullpup Rifle, new wardrobe items, the Dinka Thrust motorcycle, and three new cars, including the Pegassi Zentorno. The update also introduces the ability to own two properties simultaneously. Finally, a new "Mental State" statistic will let players see how "psychotically unhinged" they are.

Upcoming title updates will also introduce "non-contact" races, which allow players to race against one other as ghosts. GTA$ payouts will also be adjusted, with more being given for completing races, deathmatches, and jobs with less than 4 players. GTA Online will also be updated with online heists this spring.

Finally, for gamers uninterested in multiplayer, there's going to be story mode DLC "later this year." Details are forthcoming, of course.

      "Metal State"
Is that supposed to be Mental?

Really hope they bring it to the XB1 and PS4 when that story DLC comes out. I loved the game on 360, but I just don't have the desire to play it anymore, especially since my circle of friends have all moved on.

More than any other game, I would easily pay another $60 for the same game with sharper visuals, better framerates, and all updates included.

Still play it on 360, but when the PC version gets released, all bets are off.

Yeah I haven't even turned on my 360 since I got my Xbone.

I would be surprised if we don't eventually get some kind of definitive edition of GTA V made for PS4, XB1, and PC.

Don't really care about that stuff. I want more gameplay modes. I'd love a Payday style mode where you do back to back heists until you get caught or killed. Also, they need to make it simpler to launch missions.

I really want prequel DLC of Franklin and Lamar doing dumb shit that ultimately leads up to them working with Simeon at the car dealership.

I still play and enjoy GTA online. Sometimes I wish more of the single player immersion stuff would make it into the online world, such as sharks and wildlife. Will be nice to have more things to blow money on.
