Kerbal Space Program 'Asteroid Redirect Mission' takes flight today
Kerbal Space Program's Asteroid Redirect Mission has taken flight, allowing players to emulate real-world NASA missions that involve redirecting and researching asteroids.
Kerbal Space Program's new Asteroid Redirect Mission update has launched into orbit. This new piece of content from Squad, created in collaboration with NASA, allows players to emulate the real-world space mission of identifying, redirecting, and researching asteroids, in order to gather scientific data.
The update will introduce several new items and rocket parts to KSP. The Advanced Grabbing Unit is one of the most notable additions and will allow Kerbals to claw at asteroids, along with many other structures. Other additions include fuel tanks, liquid rocket boosters, solid rocket boosters, main engine clusters and upper stage engines, and a launch escape tower. All of these additions are based off real NASA shuttle parts, such as the NASA SLS tank.
The Asteroid Redirect Mission update can be downloaded through the Kerbal Space Program official website or automatically through Steam. Kerbal Space Program is available through Steam Early Access and is currently on sale for 40% off through April 8.

Anyone know how to see exactly the path the asteroid will take past Kerbin?
In Scott Manley's video, he somehow was able to select an asteroid, and then zoom in to Kerbin, and it would show the path the asteroid would take. However, when I select an asteroid, it focuses on the asteroid, and it just zooms into the asteroid. If I select Kerbin to re-center on it, the asteroid becomes unselected, and I don't see it when I zoom in.

Got to the tracking center, find an asteroid, click the asteroid, now in the bottom left corner of the screen is a button that says 'track object', click said button and voila, you've just tracked an asteroid. Congratulations! I'd offer you a snack but Jeb ate them all before launch.

No that isn't what I meant, but thanks for trying to help.
I found that once you have a ship on the launch pad, you can go into the map screen, and then it will show that path the the asteroid will fly past Kerbin. From the tracking station, you can just see how long before it intercepts, but you can't tell if it will pass by in an equatorial path, or come in over a pole, etc. The map view once you are on the launch pad will show the path around Kerbin. Once you know the path on the pad, you can fast forward time until you are under the path, to make getting an intercepting orbit easier.
