April Fools: Blizzard Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished announced

Blizzard has (ahem) "announced" Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished, a fighting game starring its less popular characters.

Hot on the trail of its free-to-play card game and banking on its wide breadth of minor characters, Blizzard has announced Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished. The fighter stars the B-listers and idiots who were stupid enough to stand in the hero's way from a wide catalog of Blizzard games, like Jim Raynor's wife Liddy, or Wirt the Entrepreneur.

The announcement, which so happened to go up today on April 1 by sheer wacky coincidence, shows off the full cast of characters and stages. It boasts features like items to turn the tide, including the ability to purchase your way into a match against some poor doof who has no chance to beat you. The fight stick includes 32 buttons, a credit card slot for purchases, and a morningstar analog stick. Blizzard says it will be available for PC, Mac, and special order arcade cabinets.
