Uncharted game director Justin Richmond leaves Naughty Dog for Riot Games

The Uncharted for PS4 development team has been dealt another blow. Following creative director Amy Hennig's departure earlier this month, Uncharted game director Justin Richmond has announced that he is leaving developer Naughty Dog to take a new position with League of Legends developer Riot Games.

Richmond previously worked as game director for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, following a stint as game designer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves' multiplayer mode.

Richmond confirmed his departure to IGN, stating, "I have in fact made the decision to leave Naughty Dog. I love the company and the people and know that they will continue to create awesome games going forward. On a happier note, after careful consideration and exploration I have joined Riot Games. There is some really innovative stuff going on here that I can't wait to be a part of."
