Home (the indie horror game) coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita

Home is coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita. And no, we don't mean the odd Second Life competitor created for PS3. Instead, we mean Benjamin Rivers' indie horror game released in 2012.

Described as "a murder mystery with a twist," Home allows players to make choices that affect the world around them. "It isn't a march toward Ending A or Ending B--it's the journey itself that is affected, as all your little choices subtly change how your character perceives the world around him," Rivers says on the PlayStation.Blog.

The PlayStation versions will feature all of the content and extra features added to the game over the years. In addition, there may be new content in the console versions, Rivers teases. "Folks who have played the game before know that you can never be sure what you'll discover the next time you start it up." The port is expected to arrive later this year.

Andrew Yoon was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.
