The developers that banded together to form Campo Santo have unveiled their first game. The studio, comprised of former The Walking Dead and Mark of the Ninja developers, are working on a single-player first-person exploration game, set in the Wyoming wilderness, called Firewatch.

Firewatch puts players in the role of Henry, who has retreated from his old life to work as a fire lookout in Wyoming. Something strange draws Henry from his post, leading him to explore the wilderness and make personal choices. A handheld radio connected to his supervisor, Delilah, is his only connection to the outside world.

Campo Santo is eyeballing a 2015 release for Firewatch on PC, Mac, and Linux. For more information, check out the game's website.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
