Eugen Systems is about to take warfare from the skies to the seas with the upcoming Wargame: Red Dragon. Pre-orders are now open for the third game in the Wargame series, with early adopters receiving first access to the Early Access beta on PC.

Red Dragon is a further continuation of Eugen's RTS series, putting players in control of 1,450 units across 17 nations. It will also feature new warships and amphibious units, to help take clashes into the waters. The game will feature a single-player campaign, as well as multiplayer for up to 20 players.

For a look at how naval operations will work, check out the new trailer below. Wargame: Red Dragon is available now on Steam and comes at a discounted rate for anyone that owns Wargame: AirLand Battle.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Preordered. Nothing like Wargame series on the market currently, RD's looking like the best entry yet.
