Infamous: Second Son is coming in just a little over a week. A new nine minute gameplay video shows off Delsin and the two powers developer Sucker Punch has chosen to show off: smoke and neon. In this clip, you'll see him traversing the streets of Seattle mowing down bad guys (and civilians). Accompanying Delsin is "Fetch Walker," a Conduit who also has the power to control neon.

Urge to pre-order...rising. But I never preorder anything! But I want it on the day it comes out!

Ah, I'll wait for the reviews.

Every time I read this game title, my brain somehow links this to "Unfortunate Son" from CCR and the song plays off in my head. Weirdcoolstorybroyeah!

I feel like it is lacking sound effects.

My thought too. The sounds are whimpy at best. InFamous had crazy everythings electrocuting, smashing, blowing up sounds and this is just "fizz, fizz, fizzzzz". :/

I was thinking the exact same thing... those sound effects have to be place holders because they are crappy.

Yeah, that's my plan. It will be my first day one download on a console ever.

Nope. I still very much value the ability to recoup $20-30 when I'm finished.

Definitely, if not for convenience then to not hear the optical drive spinning.

Me. I wish they let you preload on there so I could actually play it when the game comes out instead of a few hours later.

That this looks God awful and the dialog makes me wanna pull a Cobain?

I actually thought that Infamous 1 was alright but this? Blergh.

It looks awful? Yeah, no sense in me continuing to reply to an obvious troll.

Not graphics-wise, I mean the sound effects, the wimpy super powers, the stupid characters and dialog.

inFamous 1 and 2 were good, and this looks even cooler. I love most of these open world superhero-esque games. Certainly far more than GTA and its ilk.
