The Angry Birds franchise continues to expand. Go! turned the avian-flinging franchise into a kart racer. With Angry Birds Epic, Rovio is turning the series into a turn-based role-playing game.

According to Kotaku, it will feature a "story-driven campaign with a challenging endgame." Crafting will be an important part of the game, with players making armor, potions, and weapons. The game will be soft-launching in Australia and Canada--a way for developers to tinker with the real-money economies of their free-to-play games before moving onto launches in bigger markets. A global launch will be ready by year's end on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.

I know lots of people who love playing it.

It's like how some people still play dress up even if they're forty.

        Different people like different stuff.

stop devaluating the term personal attacks :( I was expecting some double-cunty-shithead-motherfucker type stuff.

lol I'm giving you a hard time based on your history here. it's a jab. a buddy joke inline. something guys say to other guys.

settle those sensitive nipples of yours. put some aloe or numbing solution on them. you could cut glass right now, baby.

Also you kind of just tattled on me with the "personal attack" verbiage.

That was your way of tattling.

              You totally tattled.

That's fun to say in your head. I just tried it.

If it's anything like the kart racing spin-off, it'll be terrible. Are they actually making these newer games or just outsourcing it?

Go! was outsourced and pretty sure this is too.

It's pretty amazing the brand they've built out of a mediocre game and characters. They're marketing and branding folks are brilliant.

i've always thought angry birds was a good game. the star wars one is great. they have good replay value and are challenging. and they're like a buck.

Angry Birds SW and one or two others I nabbed for free and yes, well done games. Haven't tried the kart one though.
