Infamous: Second Son live-action trailer gives a taste of dystopia

Infamous: Second Son has gotten a live-action trailer, showing just what happens to future-cops when they corner a super-powered graffiti artist.

Live-action trailers are awfully popular these days, and with Infamous: Second Son cresting the horizon, it's apparently time for Sony to take a turn. A new trailer for the open-world action game gives a taste of its anti-superhero dystopia.

We also get a brief look at an actor who bears a striking resemblance to protagonist Deslin Rowe. When the long arm of the dystopian law bears down on him, apparently for making them look stupid with graffiti, he murders them. That is one heck of an escalation battle.

So, you're a character that is completely reprehensible in this game? Good to know.

        So, pretty much like GTA?

I guess you expect it from GTA?

I remember something about two wrongs...

However, my problem here is that I'm pretty sure that DUP is actually a fascist organization, but from everything shown in that trailer, they look like the good guys, who are trying to stop a superhuman slimebag. The burning gashes in the buildings make me think that the hero is just laying waste to as much property as he can. I'm hoping that the character is actually sympathetic in the actual game, but that trailer goes out of its way to make him a monster.

They probably should have kept that trailer to themselves.

That's...not very good :-/ Feels like a "Fight 'the man' porn" which isn't what I thought Second Son was about.

Glad to see their demographic is apparently 12 years old and angst ridden.

I haven't played Infamous or anything but I seen the trailer for it on TV and I can't tell what the difference between this game and Prototype is. Everything looks almost identical except a few things here and there.

I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. One of the biggest things about inFamous is the ability to do either good or bad deeds.I'm pretty sure that this game won't stray away from that element.

Yeah, I'm not seeing it either. If the DUP was a legit organization, why are the staging in a stadium? Still not going to cancel pre-order.
