Titanfall takes on Prestige with its 'Generation' mode

Respawn Entertainment won't be able to make enough content in the game before players begin to max out. So, what's the solution? Take a page from Call of Duty, of course, and let people do it all over again.

Online games have the most dedicated players, and that's unlikely to change with Titanfall. Try as they might, Respawn Entertainment won't be able to make enough content in the game before players begin to max out. So, what's the solution? Take a page from Call of Duty, of course, and let people do it all over again.

As in Activision's online shooter, gamers will be able to sacrifice all progress they've made via "Generations." As discovered by Reddit's RazorUK (via PC Gamer), resetting progress will provide a "unique chip" showing off one's dedicated status. In addition, a "2nd generation" pilot will earn XP at an accelerated rate of 110%, making it easier to go through the ranks--and presumably reach 3rd generation (and so on and so on...).
