Little Girls & Drugs

by Steve Gibson, Aug 07, 2000 9:21am PDT

Levelord made a .plan update just a little while ago with word that he's off to work an 8 week contract job at Rogue to help wrap up the Alice project for EA, just after finishing up FAKK2.

...anytime I can work on a game with a twisted theme, and little girls, and drugs, ...well, you know, I'm there!
The team will actually be 3 guys heading over there to work. In addition to Levelord , Pat 'Velcro Wallet' Hook and Beau Anderson will also be heading out there for the term. (Thanks Elves On Tricycles for the pic)

  • the 70s were thee WORST decade that we ever went through... maybe worse than the sixties, the decade that spawned, ack, hippies...

the 70s gave us: brown and green kitchen appliances, brown and brown and tope everything else... whats with all the brown??? even the stereos were brown for fk sake...

uh what else? loggins and mesena, uhm, journey, foreigner, styx, bellbottoms, captain + teneal, the Rabbit (the car you plugged in at night), um... Le Car, Le Bag.. Le Whatever... the pet rock, Jimmmy F'n Carter, Billy Beer... uhh, wait scratch that last one.

  • not using drugs is definitely okay... whatever, but using drugs == uncoool... double whatever... despite #29's eloquent pro-drug stance, a lot of people use drugs for whatever reason... if you think that makes them some kind of tool, i guess you just missed the point...

you know that there are A LOT of people who sit at their computers for 6+ hours straight (or more) and play quake or EQ or whatever... this seems a little UNHEALTHY to me... but i dont judge people with what they do... nobody ever died playing quake, but if someone kills themselves by using drugs, whats it to you? one less druggie for you...

people are adicted to food, the internet, computers, pornography, not to mention cigarettes and alchohol (both legal drugs) along with a ton of other things because we live in a consumer based society that tells us that we can cure our own ills by consuming more products rather than figuring out what we are missing out of life...
