Developer Metanet is making a sequel to its challenging platformer N+. Dubbed N++, the sequel promises to introduce over 1000 new levels. And with a built-in level editor, there's the potential for an infinite number of community-generated levels as well.

N++ will also feature several multiplayer modes. Co-op will have two players trying to reach the exit alive. According to the PlayStation.Blog, "these levels tend to be fairly devious and often involve traps and tricks which players must figure out together." Race modes will have four players race to the exit. Finally, there's also a brand new Deathmatch mode, inspired by freeware game Jump n Bump.

      I'm so annoyed that none of these sequels to N are coming out for the PC, which is where the original game was. I don't get it. You'd think a game this size wouldn't get sucked into the exclusivity trap.
