Sony has finally announced Dead Nation for PS4. The "Apocalypse Edition" will be part of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, or available as a $15 purchase on March 4th. As expected of a next-gen port, it'll feature improved textures, rendering, and effects--all while running in 1080p. In addition, the AE will include the Road to Devastation add-on as part of the base game.

Perhaps the best new feature of the PS4 version of the game is "Broadcast+." Like Daylight, the game will let stream viewers interact with your game. Viewers will "have the option to vote between a positive and negative effect that occurs in your game," the PlayStation.Blog explains, "ranging from spawning zombie packs to giving the player ammo, or even disabling the player's ability to sprint." Yikes! The player will be able to get some retribution--by killing zombies that are named after the stream viewers.
