Team17 has introduced the title of its next new IP: Flockers.

Team17 has taken the wraps off of the new IP it began teasing in August. Well, not so much the wraps, seeing as we still don't know anything about the game's genre or play mechanics or art style or platforms. But we have a title, so that's something, right?

Develop reports that the game is called "Flockers." It was shown off at the PlayStation Open Day in England, and will be officially unveiled next week.

Given the venue, it's likely to hit a PlayStation platform or two. When Team17 began talking about working on the new IP, lead designer Gavin Hood mentioned that they had development kits for the new consoles and said he assumed the studio would be putting its games on them. We know that Team17 is planning to put out a Worms game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year, and the company has started branching out into publishing again.

"This is the most important game we've worked on in over a decade," Team17's Debbie Bestwick said during the presentation.
