The closed beta for Square Enix's free-to-play Nosgoth will begin later this week, the company has announced. It will kick off on Thursday, February 27, with no end date set for the beta and updates to come continuously throughout.

The beta will launch with the Team Deathmatch mode from the alpha phase, and add on the asymmetrical Siege mode as well. Square and developer Psyonix promise new maps, modes, character classes, weapons, and abilities will be doled out as the beta goes on. No date was given for an open beta, but you can still register for the closed beta with a Square Enix account.
