The PlayStation 3 and Vita RPG Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will launch on April 1, publisher XSEED has announced. Both versions will cost $39.99 at retail, but the Vita retail version will also include a soundtrack CD. The digital release on Vita will go for $34.99 instead.
Ragnarok Odyssey allows for cross-platform play between the PS3 and Vita versions, and the "Ace" version in particular boasts new content not included in the original Japanese release. You'll have access to the randomized Tower of Yggdrasil dungeon, the "Ace Skill" system to unleash new moves, and AI mercenaries to recruit. If you played the original Ragnarok Odyssey, you'll be able to transfer your name, face, and job class, along with weapons and monster cards, to the Ace version.
