Warhorse launched the Kickstarter campaign in January, seeking £300,000 (about $500k). With just over one day left to go, it's sitting pretty at around £970k ($1.6 million-ish)--just short of the stretch goal to add a dog companion.

If you're perhaps past blindly supporting crowdfunding campaigns based upon dreams, here's an hour of gameplay from a recent live stream, mostly showing the build once pitched to publishers:

I can't wait to play this game, lets just hope they can deliver not just in the graphics department but in the gameplay as well.

Wonder who their publishing partner will be. No way you can get past certification on both consoles with the amount of money they've raised by itself.

I have no idea what's happening behind the scenes but the idea was that they had an investor willing to fund them for millions of pounds if they could get proof that the game was desired by raising 300,000 pounds on Kickstarter which they easily did. If they reach the stretch goal of having a dog companion the next stretch goal should be that they guarantee to not have a heartbreaking scene where the dog sacrifices itself to save you.

That "we have an investor waiting" stuff sure is common kickstarter jive.

Wow, that looks amazing. The architecture and outfits etc look real. It has a very authentic medieval look to it. Pretty amazing for such and early build.

Looks great. But also like an amazingly boring historical simulator.

I just pledged - the combat looks tight and not unlike Chivalry. The rest of the world looks incredible. For $33 for a physical copy for a next gen console or PC to the door seems like a steal. Can't wait.
