Vita is receiving yet another enhanced JRPG port. 2011's Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten was one of Nippon Ichi's most noteworthy PlayStation 3 efforts. For those players that missed it, or simply want to take the adventure on the go, NIS America has announced a new version will be available for PS Vita this summer.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited adds several new scenarios which promise to expand the backstory of the game. In addition, a variety of new characters and familiar faces from the Disgaea saga will also be thrown in for good measure.

Additional gameplay elements include new spells and techniques for each character to master. All of the downloadable content released on PS3 will be included, along with a variety of extra tunes in the soundtrack.

Robert Workman was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.
