The PS4 version also supports, like on PS3, playing with a keyboard and mouse, and, naturally, the fancy Share button. There's also a "dramatic difference" between the graphics of the PS3 and PS4 versions, game director Naoki Yoshida added in another video.

Open beta testing for PlayStation 4 owners is due to start on February 22. The first phase will run until March 3, detailed today, followed by a second from April 4 to 7. Check the post for more on how it'll all work, including transferring characters from PC and PS3 for the beta.

FF14 has been pretty successful for Square Enix since its relaunch as A Realm Reborn. It was one of a few games the company singled out for attention this month in announcing decent profits.
