Kinect Sports Rivals coming to Xbox One on April 8

Kinect Sports Rivals will show what Xbox One Kinect can do on April 11.

Kinect Sports Rivals was originally meant to be a launch game for Xbox One--one of the few games designed to take full advantage of the mandatory Kinect sensor included with Microsoft's next-gen system. Obviously, that didn't happen. The compilation will include new motion games, including climbing, wake racing, target shooting, soccer, tennis, and bowling. And it'll be available on April 8.

Rare's game has long served as Microsoft's showcase for the next-generation Kinect. For example, you'll be able to scan your face and create an in-game Champion automatically. Watch this video to see some of the fancy tech being used in the upcoming game:
