The PS Vita will take it old-school in just a few months' time, as the system is set to receive two PlayStation 2 compilations in May. One will feature the maddening bloodlust of the powerful Kratos, while the other will bring Sly Cooper and his heist-worthy gang back for a trio of adventures.

Sony confirmed the release dates for both the God of War Collection and the Sly Collection for PS Vita yesterday, both with similar content to the previous PlayStation 3 releases. God of War Collection will contain both God of War and God of War II, while Sly Cooper's trilogy includes the original game, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, along with Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Yes, that means a batch of new trophies to unlock for each game.

God of War Collection will arrive first on May 6, with the Sly Cooper Collection following on May 27. Both games are set to be priced at $29.99.
