A well set up multi-monitor config can do quite a bit for your productivity (although I really couldn't see the benefits of multi-monitor gaming).

i can't comprehend how anyone could think multi-head computing sucks.
unless you have tried it, you have no idea how good it can be.
A Multi-Monitor setup will be considered analogous to one of those crazy turn-of-the-century airplanes with six wings - because six airfoils are better than one, right? :)
Retinal Scanning Displays are the next logical evolution.
