Mamoru Samurgochi admits he hired a ghost composer for two decades

Mamoru Samurgochi, is a deaf composer credited for the soundtracks behind Resident Evil, and Ominusha titles, admits today that he used a ghost composer for two decades.

Smurgagochi is known for as "modern Beethoven" because he went deaf at age 35, and still continued to work. According to Japan Times, none of his musical pieces were created by Samuragochi, but from an individual who at this not moment hasn't come forward.

Kotaku is reporting that Mamoru Samuragoch confessed to hiring another composer to a news broadcast NHK reporter earlier today. "I started hiring the person to compose music for me around 1996, when I was asked to make movie music for the first time," said Samuragoch. "I had to ask the person to help me for more than half of my work because my ear condition got worse" said Samuragoch.

On Samuragochi website he appologies for his action, stating he's "deeply sorry as he has betrayed fans and disapointed others. He knows he could not possibly make any excuse for what he has done. He is mentally distressed and not in a condition to properly express his own thoughts" said Samuragoch.
