Forza Motorsport 5 is getting another dose of cars next Tuesday, in the 'Smoking Tire Car Pack.' Named after the popular car enthusiast site, it costs $10 for 10 cars, nine of which need to be unlocked in-game after purchasing the pack. The 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will be delivered to your garage as soon as you buy the pack, and will be available to use in all game modes. The other nine need to be bought using in-game credits or tokens once you've unlocked them. Those include the 2013 Abarth Punto Supersport, 2000 BMW Z8, 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo, 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air, 2011 Ferrari FF, 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS, 2004 Maserati MC12, 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185, and 1995 Audi RS 2 Avant. Ho ho, that certainly is a long list of sporting automobiles! Probably with very many horses of power! The unlocking system is still a bit odd, but at least the update has lowered prices and boosted cash to make the grind easier.

As you can see, this is a car

Holy fuck, what the shit is wrong with T10 / Microsoft?!

      I loved Forza, but they've turned the series into a rip-off fuck-you-give-me-money microtransaction-heavy scam.

This is probably the best game they could make within the short time frame. I expect F6 to be way better.

The actual game is indeed good, but I think it's unacceptable that they released the game with significantly fewer tracks and cars than the previous title, made it harder to obtain the cars, and then sell DLC packs right after release and even make you grind in-game cash to use the DLC cars. I thought they learned from Gran Turismo that grinding in-game cash is boring, but it seems their game designers started smoking crack.

Yeah, not being able to go back to the main menu after a series-race is also really annoying and a waste of our time.

Damn. I hoped this was going to be a patch that fixed tire smoke.
