Killer Instinct has once again traded out its free-to-play character, and Microsoft's timing for swapping samplers is starting to become more clear. This is the second switcheroo this month, and this time it's Native American stereotype Thunder's turn to shine.

Thunder replaces Sabrewulf, who was the first character to tag into the F2P slot. Before that it had been Jago since launch. Microsoft said at the time that it planned to offer new characters regularly, and it's been about three weeks since the Sabrewulf shuffle.
