It looks like Activision is going farther and farther out of its way to try and get you to play Call of Duty, if this new trailer is any indication. The latest trailer for the Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC spends about three minutes showing off new and complicated ways to escape to Infinity Ward's shooter before offering up new footage on the new DLC's maps.

Beyond showing more of the Halloween-inspired Fog map, players can also check out the other multiplayer maps slated to be included: Bayview (complete with firefights from atop a moving street car), Containment, and the space station Ignition.

The trailer also reveals first footage of the new Extinction mode episode, Nightfall, which brings the alien invasion to new snow-covered terrain.

The whole thing can be seen in the trailer below. Ghosts' Onslaught DLC will arrive on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on January 28, with other platforms set to receive it later.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
