2Another new version of Rocket Arena for UT has been released with a number of bug fixes made available. There are some cosmetic changes in there as well which should please all the girly mans who need a 'pretty' interface. 6:20pm update: If you grabbed the patch before about 20 minutes ago, go grab another patch. They had a bug that only let the blue team win any of the rounds. (heh)

Quake3, and UT are both enjoyable, but CS is the best FPS I've played online in a while.

I was on a server, minding my own business on an empty map with practice mode trying to fix my mouse sensetivity and a couple other guys showed up and wanted to run around playing for damage. It was less than five minutes to map change, so I said what the hell and screwed around. Then, the map change happened, everyone logged in and started doing 1v1 or CA, so I waited a bit and then went into an empty 1v1 arena and started playing with my config again, this time half the damn server showed up and played practice mode for 20 minutes. wtf? I finally left because my arm was tired.
THAT is mindless game play. Not even mindless fragging.
I don't consider cstrike as an fps by itself because you can't just buy "it" in the store, you need HL, and then you need to download it. On the other hand I put it in the fps genre.

I like unreal tournament but I don't like the movement code, it feels flaky.... that's why I don't play it.
