According to sources inside sony the release of the Playstation2 for Europe is being pushed back in order for Sony to be able to make more systems to meet the US initial launch anticipated demand. (620,000 units) Thanks redmonkey
PlayStation 2 is officially scheduled for a simultaneous US/European launch on 26 October. Earlier Sony sales predictions cast doubt on its ability to meet demand in the US, and it now looks like European shipments will be held back to minimise that problem

Sony = $$$ I stick to consoles that have good games (no Tomb Raider sheit). I must say that Dreamcast rulez on that point (Samba de Amigo, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi etc r0x). I also own a Nintendo(that´s Shiguro Myamoto(can´t spell) fault). Actually I bought a Playstation just to play Metal Gear Solid(GREAT GAME) but sold it afterwards.

A nice sony reciever can cost up to 500 bux or more :(
Their DVD players can combo with recievers sometimes (?) and they never cost more than 300 if you are just going to get a DVD standalone with the features.
But I guess. It's just that I don't think I would use a gaming system to power my DVD home-theatre.
