It's never too early to start thinking about next month's free PlayStation Plus offerings and there's already one to get excited about. Red Barrels' bone-chilling horror game, Outlast, is gearing up to make its PlayStation 4 debut and it will come free to PS Plus members.

The announcement comes courtesy of a new Facebook photo (via Joystiq). No specific date is set, as Red Barrels posted this photo ahead of the normal monthly PS Plus rundown.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Damn, that's a pretty cool free game. I watched the playthrough Patrick Klepeck did around Halloween last year, and it looked fun.

That's also at least one free PS4 game a month since launch.
