Next Xbox One update will address parties

While the new Xbox One Dashboard does a lot of things right, some things aren't quite as easy to access as they were on Xbox 360. Primarily, parties. That's going to be one of the big focuses for the next system update from Microsoft.

While the new Xbox One Dashboard does a lot of things right, some things aren't quite as easy to access as they were on Xbox 360. Primarily, parties. That's going to be one of the big focuses for the next system update from Microsoft.

"The feedback we've gotten is pretty valid; some of the social stuff is hidden or harder to use than it was on the Xbox 360," Xbox's Marc Whitten admitted. "So you're gonna see us come out with an update where, well, we're going to fix those things."

"I take it pretty seriously when people say it's harder to get into a party," Whitten told Engadget. "I think that's a theme you'll really see us push on--that Live experience."

There's no date on when the update will go live, but it will happen "sooner than later" according to the report. Future updates will also roll out on a more regular basis, Whitten promised. "You're still gonna see the big, 'Hey, here's the cool stuff we're doing.' But you're also gonna see the box just get better faster than you did in the past," he said.

Glad Notwen has addressed the issue. I knew they would tweak this as they went on, so it's good to know it's on the top of their list of issues to address.

They misunderstood the concept behind the phrase, "Party hard."

No alcohol, no drugs and everyone has to leave by 10 PM. Also, the cake can only say "Happy Birthday!" on one half because the other is used for advertisements that don't have audio until you stick a fork in them.

I just want someone from Microsoft who can speak to the press without saying the word EXPERIENCE even once. Is that so fucking difficult,
