Turtle Rock Studios, the original creator of Left 4 Dead, has announced its next game: Evolve. The asymmetric multiplayer shooter's being published by 2K Games, and is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this fall.

The game is the February cover story for Game Informer, which shares the first details. It pits a four-player crew against a single player-controlled monster that grows larger as the matches go on. Each human character has his or her own items and abilities, while the monster has its own much more powerful attacks. The asymmetric play seems right up the L4D team's alley.
