Zombie Studios has shed some more light on its upcoming procedurally-generated Unreal Engine 4-powered horror romp Daylight by releasing a trailer that shows some of the game's premise in action. Namely, the main character, Sarah, wakes up in the middle of the abandoned Mid Island Hospital and can only trudge through the darkness with the aid of her cell phone.

The trailer also dives some more into Daylight's plot, pointing to a number of mysteries surrounding Mid Island Hospital and the unknown force that's taken Sarah captive. The game will involve exploring the different corners of the hospital and uncovering its secrets, while avoiding the gothic horrors that lurk in the shadows.

You can get a glimpse of what to expect in the new trailer below. Daylight will arrive on PC and PS4, with exclusive features for the latter, in early 2014.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Stuff that man.. how can we sleep after playing this game? (especially if we are single)..
Reminds me of when I watched 'The Ring'. I had to literally play computer games
until I was too tired to keep my eyes open.
