Santa is a master at breaking in to places he shouldn't be. But what if instead of giving gifts to little children, he was robbing banks? That's the premise of the first "annual" Christmas heist for Payday 2.

The PC version will be updated for free with the brand new "Charlie Santa" heist. In an unexpected twist, the bank will be based on a map from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Of course, what's the point of robbing the bank during the holidays if you're not going to do it in style? Everyone that joins the official Payday 2 group on Steam will get a free Santa mask. You'll be able to use it in conjunction with a free weapon modification: a sight which will come in handy against snipers.

The free update will also add nine new Christmas-related achievements. Happy holidays:

Man this game had a short honeymoon, I swear I played it a tone for like a week and then just completely dropped off my radar.

Basically once you've gone through all the missions.. that's it. There isn't enough AI response to really make it worthwhile. When it falls apart it instantly switches from fun heist game to badly controlled janky FPS. It needs better failure modeling so players have more reason to enjoy mistakes instead of being punished so hard.

ya I've liked the games a good amount in the beginning and then the fun just drops really quick.
