Call of Duty: Ghosts may not have launched with microtransactions, but it was inevitable that Activision would eventually dip its toes back into the waters of cosmetic DLC--especially after the success of microtransactions in Black Ops 2.

Tomorrow, 'The Wolf' DLC will launch on Xbox platforms. For $2, this will transform the Guard Dog killstreak into a wolf. This is simply a cosmetic tweak, as the wolf is unlikely to give players an edge. Still, it is a wolf.

If you want a few seconds of video of the wolf in action, here it is from Call of Duty's Instagram:

It will randomly go and hunt for deer during the match and your epeen weapon of choice gets replaced with a .22 calibre rifle.
