Titanfall shows off new Titan classes

Respawn showed off trailers tonight that debuted two new Titan classes, the Ogre and the Stryder.

Tonight at the VGX awards, Respawn debuted two new classes of Titan in Titanfall: the Ogre and the Stryder. As you might expect, the two new classes from "Hammond Robotics" fulfill opposing roles on the battlefield.

The Ogre is a big hulking brute with heavy armor, while the Stryder is a quick and nimble fighter. Their visual designs drive this home, with the Ogre heavily armored and the Stryder looking stripped down and thin by comparison. In an interview, the team also confirmed that Titanfall will not use any Kinect integration.

I was really stoked at first but the more I see of titanfall the less excited I get. The animation and graphic fidelity looks particularly last gen, stilted and not highly detailed environments. Bf4 has spoiled me I guess.

It does seem like the previous stuff looked a bit better than this. I won't say this doesn't look good, just purely from the technical graphical standpoint, it's not blowing me away. The ideas and design of the game looks amazing though. It looks like a lot of fun to play. I just wish this was coming to the PS4, but I guess I'll play this one on the PC.

So what? The gameplay looks ridiculously fun. If you're only interested in games with cutting edge graphical fidelity, then you're going to miss out on you know, good video games.

I don't agree - I think that (after watching it a few times, closely) it looks very good.

Plus the gameplay looks interesting and fresh. Can't wait for this one.

It's out on PC, too. ;) I can't imagine playing any shooter on a console with a crappy gamepad. :)

But with these new console controllers out, they're supposedly getting much better for it, so that's a positive at least. I'd also like to see what the STEAM controller brings to the shooting table, so to speak.

So when Microsoft sells its Xbox division do we finally get a PC port, oh great self-proclaimed supporter of PC games: Microsoft. Game looks cool but I won't buy another Microsoft product.

It's from EA, not MS. And has a PC version.

You're right I should have looked more closely. Wouldn't be surprised if PC version was delayed though.
