Doki-Doki Universe will be launching next week for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita. Developer HumaNature Studios announced today that it will hit on December 10 for $14.99.

HumaNature founder Greg Johnson said on the PlayStation.Blog that the free "Starter Pack" version will launch on the same day. It includes 16 personality quizzes, Doki-Doki Mail, a tutorial planet, and protagonist QT3's home planet. You could test the waters with the Starter, and then upgrade to the full version for more quizzes and the Doki-Doki Mail system. It also supports cross-buy across all three platforms.

Doki-Doki Universe has been described as a mixture of RPG, simulation, and interactive story elements. You're a robot called QT3, who travels to different planets taking personality tests and interacting with characters to prove how much humanity you have. By proving your humanity, you'll avoid the scrap heap and (hopefully) reunite with your human family.

As an example of how the game works, Johnson shared the story of the planet Brrr, in which QT3 finds an insecure snowman named Junior. Junior is afraid to tell his father that he hates the cold, and his father is concerned because Junior is always getting sick. QT3 steps in to mediate the situation and help them come to an understanding. Johnson will be doing a livestream of the Brrr mission on Twitch on December 10.
