Zen Pinball 2 bouncing onto PS4 this month

If you've got a PlayStation 4 but are suffering the pinball jitters, hearing bumpers in your dreams and seeing rollovers out the corner of your eye, relax. Zen Studios today announced that it'll launch Zen Pinball 2 on PS4 in a few weeks, on December 17. Pleasingly, it continues the game's Cross-Buy trend, so many DLC tables you pinball wizards have bought in the PS3 or Vita editions will carry over onto PS4 for free.

Zen Pinball 2 is a free download and comes with one table, Sorcerer's Lair, then sells oodles more as DLC. These range from generic tables Zen has created to licensed tables based upon Marvel comics, Plants vs. Zombies, Star Wars, and more of your favourite transmedia franchises.

Launching alongside the PS4 version is a new table based upon Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange table. It'll be available on all PlayStation platforms for $2.99.

Not every DLC table from the last generation will be available at launch, though. Check the announcement [pdf] for more on what exactly is coming over. Here, a trailer:

Well I have only played the Steam PC version... but I think that platform aside this is the best pinball game ever, and certainly out there at the moment. The number of different tables available keep it from getting boring, and the predominant Marvel Comics and Star Wars themed tables are great. Definitely a must buy no matter what platform you use.

Get rid of that stupid shit. Just throw it out of the window and get the 32Gig. You already bought a Vita, you clearly have money to burn. Just pay it and get it over with like a Band Aid coming off. I downloaded the beta for some Space Simmy game the other day JUST BECAUSE I HAD THE SPACE TO DO SO.

I have it on Xbox Live Arcade and picked up more through the Humble Bundle a few weeks ago for PC and they're awesome!
