The sci-fi open world survival game Darkout will release this Wednesday, December 4, developer Allgraf has announced. It will cost $14.99 on Steam, and Allgraf has outlined just what will be included in the launch version that the studio has dubbed "stage one," and others to follow.

According to the announcement, this initial roll-out will feature a few changes from the beta version, including new male character with his own storyline, an item database for easy storage and crafting, and revamped AI and lighting systems. A post on the blog, stages 2-4 will include more story beats, more biomes, an end game, new enemies, and NPC survivors. Multiplayer will be added as an alpha/beta in stage two, and then the beta will wrap up in stage three.
