Ho ho ho! What does Father PlayStation have in his bulging sack for boys and girls who've behaved well by ponying up for PlayStation Plus membership? December will bring another five free games to PlayStation 3 and Vita, Sony has announced, including Borderlands 2 and Dyad. Plus membership is 40% off for Black Friday in some stores, too.

PlayStation 3 Plusnauts will get Gearbox's FPS-RPG and the delightful psychedelic shooter across the month as well as car 'em up Grid 2, Sony revealed yesterday.

The free games coming to Viteers are cross-over kart racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and the Trials-esque motorbike platform Urban Trial Freestyle.

Seems nothing is planned for PlayStation 4, though that's hardly surprising.

If you don't have Plus membership, Sony reminds that it's on sale for Black Friday in a few places, with a year's membership down from $49.99 to only $29.99.
