After a multi-year hiatus for the series, players can finally try out a new NBA Live game next week. EA has announced that the NBA Live 14 demo will launch on November 19 for the PlayStation 4, and accompany the Xbox One launch on November 22.

The demo will let you choose to play as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, or Golden State Warriors. The demo itself will be updated with live stats from NBA games, just like the full game. You can also play the competitive mode offline.

It gives a sample of five "BIG Moments," replicating buzzer-beaters from the 2013-14 NBA season. Finally, the demo will also include a limited version of the Ultimate Team mode with Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Victor Oladipo, Ricky Rubio, Damian Lillard, and Kemba Walker. You'll have to take those players against highly-regarded former cover athletes, so it won't be a walk in the park.

Well, NBA Live has been dead for 2 years, so they might figure throwing a demo out will help them gain some sales back from the 2K series.
