New Super Mario 3D World trailer shows off new ways to play

There's only so much we can say about Super Mario 3D World due to review embargoes and such. But Nintendo isn't obligated to keep their mouths shut. In fact, they can flat-out spoil many of the surprises in store for players. A new trailer shows off 10 things you probably didn't know about the game, but will make you say "wow." But be warned: perhaps you'll want to discover these things in the game yourself?

I am so excited to play as Rosalina. The double-jump is so vital in platformers.

I'm not reading these articles, don't want to spoil the game for myself. But I love seeing all the headlines about new gameplay elements.

As excited as I am for the new features, I can't fault your personal logic. You're going to be blown away by the surprises.

It's kind of sad that the most interesting game this holiday season is on the Wii U. Good for them though! Hopefully more people will realize how fun this console is and give it a shot.

I am seriously considering getting this for our house instead of the One or the PS4. I want something for the family as really - all the shooter games I can play just fine on the PC. The WiiU seems to be geared towards kid friendlier games.

Yep. This will be the 4th game in my Wii U library that supports four people playing at once. Nintendo is still the best at supporting local multplayer.

Thats what I did. I canceled my PS4 and Xbone orders and got a WiiU and my gf loves it.
