Killzone: Shadow Fall is ready to deploy in time for Friday's PS4 launch. Two new trailers have been released to help whet some appetites, one highlighting the ongoing narrative and another displaying some of the tech used to power Guerrilla Games' latest.

The Shadow Fall story trailer helps communicate the conflict between the Vektans and the Helghast, culminating with a terrorist attack that leads into the game's campaign.

For those more interested in the technical side of Shadow Fall, a second trailer illustrates the game's post processing, world density, dust and weather effects, volumetric lighting, and particle effects.

Check out both trailers below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

This looks really good. But will this be a COD SP clone where it is one scripted action after another?

I'm sure there are big events, but there was a video going around a month or so ago showing how the same section could be done in a variety of different ways, including using your little helper guy, being stealthy, or running in guns blazing.
