Diablo 3: The Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4 includes Reaper of Souls expansion

Players hoping to pick up the PS4 edition of Diablo 3 won't have to worry about falling behind in the story too much. Titled "The Ultimate Evil Edition," the next-gen console version of Blizzard's dungeon crawler will come with the base game, as well as the Reaper of Souls expansion in one convenient package.

Not too long ago, Blizzard hinted at a console version of the Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls. The publisher has since made this official at Blizzcon, announcing that the PS4 version, titled "The Ultimate Evil Edition," will include both Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls in one convenient package.

According to VG247, the Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will come with many of the additions set to come to the PC version of Reaper of Souls, including the new Adventure Mode, Nephalem Rifts (a.k.a. Loot Runs), and the new Crusader class.

Diablo 3: The Ultimate Evil Edition is to release in 2014.

    After playing on my PS3 for a while, I realized that the PS4 version was probably going to be a "GOTY Edition" or something. I'll be trading up to this version when it's released.

  I've held out on D3 for a long time now (mostly due to cost). Let's hope this, "The Ultimate Evil Edition" comes out for PC too. If not, hopefully I can at least grab it for $40 for both combined.
