Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman just announced that their Android-based game library now features over 500 games. Uhrman says this is an accomplishment, given that their games don't feature celebrities and don't have multi-million budgets.

"Just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all the Devs who shared their games with us. Thank you for your range and experimentation. And, for all you Devs still working on games, we can't wait to play them, and we know it's only the beginning–great games take time," she wrote on the company's official blog.

A new video highlights some of Ouya's more noteworthy titles, and even pokes fun at some of the controversy Ouya has courted since its launch. The company is still aiming at courting developers, and plans on releasing a 2.0 system next year.

I own an OUYA and I'm awestruck that no one has reported on its latest update (including OUYA themselves)! I was not part of the Closed Beta for USB expansion but it is on my OUYA and it works! You can move games and apps to USB storage from the Details screen for that app. Also you are prompted during your download to select where you want to install the app (OUYA or External).
