Velocity Ultra also coming to PC

A PlayStation 3 port of Velocity Ultra was announced only a few weeks ago, and now the shmup has a new target. Porter Curve Studios today announced it's bringing FuturLab's Vita shooter to PC too, aiming to blast off later this year.

A PlayStation 3 port of Velocity Ultra was announced only a few weeks ago, and now the shmup has a new target. Porter Curve Studios today announced it's bringing FuturLab's Vita shooter to PC too, aiming to blast off later this year.

Velocity Ultra's a 2D scrolling shoot 'em up with the handy twist of a teleporting ship.

Curve may be best known for PlayStation ports of Proteus, Thomas Was Alone, and Lone Survivor, but has a few PC releases to its name too, most notably the original free Stealth Bastard and its revamp Stealth Bastard Deluxe.

Creator FuturLab is currently working away on the sequel, Velocity 2X. Here's an old trailer showing off Velocity Ultra on Vita, and what it added over the original PS Mini game Velocity:
