Starting today, Nintendo will have "Wii U Game Lounges" set up at participating PBteen stores. That's short for Pottery Barn Teen, if you're not up with how kids talk these days. There are over a dozen locations participating, with most stores offering the experience until the 24th--a few days after the game's launch.

By visiting, you'll also be entered for a chance to win a Wii U Deluxe system. To see which stores are participating, click here.

Honestly, I think Nintendo would be so much better served by taking a bit of a break from all these over-used but famous properties. Let them settle a bit, build up more anticipation for them. Meanwhile develop some all-new IPs, start fresh, see what happens.

I can't tell if you're serious or not. The last few videos that Nintendo had put out make the game look amazing.

I apologize but I'm totally serious. I'm super, super bored of nearly all their over-used and beat-to-death IPs. :(

I've felt that way about Mario for quite awhile, but luckily after seeing these videos I'm once again excited for a platformer. It ebbs and flows.

Agreed. I'd love to see something a bit more daring than digging up Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, or Metroid. Even a game in the Zelda world without Zelda, Link, or Ganon could be very interesting.

Most of the world is super stoked for Mario 3D World. Have you looked at any of the gameplay trailers Nintendo has released? They've shown off all sorts of cool power-ups and varied level design.

Also, new Zelda games only come out every 3-5 years on consoles. That doesn't account for remakes and handheld games, but, again, A Link Between Worlds on 3DS looks pretty fresh and exciting.

Oh this conversation again. The same thing could be said for every major publisher out there. Nintendo has an enormous list of successful IP's, to not use them (especially when needed the most) would be a colossal mistake.

Also, I think many people forget how many titles outside of 'the big 5' Nintendo pushes out each year. Lesser known titles such as Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin 3, Yoshi's Yarn, Kirby Dream Land, Kid Icarus, Pokemon X/Y, Animal Crossing, etc all seem to get overlooked with these OMG MARIO AGAIN!??! comments.

Yeah fuck this rehashed Nintendo shit, I'm gonna go play some fresh hotness like the new Call of Duty 10, Assassin's Creed 6, GTA 7, and Total War 8* to hold me over until Gran Turismo: The Sixth and Killzone: We Made Another One arrive!

Screw you Nintendo and your ridiculous policy of putting out a new console Zelda EVERY FIVE FUCKING YEARS! STOP MILKING IT TO DEATH!!!

*which is what they would be if they were honest with their numbering scheme.

Seriously, trotting out this argument is like wearing a big sign around your neck saying "I'm a huge idiot whose perceptual skills are so poor that I don't realize that this is the business model around which the entire game industry is based, so I'm going to hypocritically single out one of the lesser offenders because shitting on Nintendo is fun."

i don't know, being able to try new games is a potentially nice break for kids/husbands that get dragged along for furniture shopping.

And entertainment boxes are kind of like a piece of furniture. Every family needs one under their TV, and new families might be swayed towards Nintendo while they're furniture shopping.
